India is the world’s fastest-growing large economy, home to one in five of the global population under 30.Although the superpower is Australia’s fourth-largest trading partner there are many opportunities for this bilateral relationship to grow.Acknowledging an awareness and knowledge gap between the countries, Indian business peak body - the Confederation of Indian Industry - wanted to take a delegation of Australian journalists to India in late 2019.Assisting with the planning and accompanying the delegation as the media point of contact and liaison between the media and businesses, Rosanne Barrett visited world-class corporates and organisations. The resulting media coverage was more than 90 articles across print, online and broadcast that reached 3.2 million people.CII Australian Representative Abhay Mehta says Rosanne Barrett was organised, prepared and professional. "She has a very good understanding of the Australian media landscape and maintains strong contacts within it," he says. "It was a great collaboration that made the delegation a great showcase of the growing trade links between India and Australia."

Interviews included artists, organisers, tourist operators and influencers who are making the NT Arts Trail a world-leading destination. The Australian's Commercial Editor Steve Waterson says Rosanne Barrett is one of our first-choice external contributors.
